Dictatorship?

How Hitler, Stalin and Trump show it’s easier than you think

Andrea Chalupa discusses her graphic novel, co-authored with Sarah Kendzior, about authoritarianism and its dangers

Three zombies lurching your way is scary enough. Now imagine they’re Lenin, Stalin and Putin. This scene isn’t from a Kremlin-themed horror film, but rather a new graphic novel, Dictatorship: It’s Easier Than You Think!…

Anybody know who the guy after Mao is?

Me thinks it be Henry Kissinger.

… My search is now full of a bunch of Dictators and random political figures. Crud.

Meet Müne (The Moon hat creature) and Lumen (The Goblin/Head critter). Müne is Lumen’s familiar, able to aid in metaphysical transportation by engulfing all of Lumen. Though this might seem a tad worrying, don’t be. The inside is more akin to a very soft onsie with the ability to carry any sized person(s) inside. I might actually try and draw up Lumen’s while outfit later. But for now, hope you enjoy!

some older pizza tower stuff I forgor I never posted here whoops

I wanna update these bc I don’t like how I drew peppino grrrrrrrr

A young adventurer stands in front of you. One hand faces toward you palm in an open, spread finger form. the other is cast above him gripping on the hilt of a thick sword. A red cape swirls up and around his sides, shadows being cast here and there. One would think his stance is that of fighting, except he has the burning look quests, people, and journeys. A look full of courage! But, also, one of friendship. You both stand on mounds of moss, the sung dancing across your skins. Warm, and kind, while the wind provided some relief. A blue forest is past you both, away in sight and mind. Meet Leif, the one who'll try to help you no matter what!ALT

This is a little something I did for a homie of mine, named Mello, because dang right he is!

I might have went a tad nutty for the ALT text. I’d rather give y’all an experience, instead of a basic description. Also, it’s just how I do this stuff. Lol

But here’s a blurb for you to slurp, ->

“I met a young adventurer today. I was walking by myself over a set of Moss Mounds, before I ran into him. Leif! An odd name, but one that seems to fit such a green and lively fellow. He was telling me of wonders beyond that which we’ve seen. Friends who lurk in the shadows, enemies who stand in fake armor and try to pass themselves off as Knights. “Bah!” He said when I tried to say it might be dangerous. “I’d rather help those who have no one, then those who have the world played like puppets!” Well Met, dear Leif! I took my pictobox in hand, snapping a quick photo before we said our goodbyes. May the winds sing of your adventures across the way, and may that hue you have stand out as it is here!”

There was an Isekai Fashion challenge done in this Art Server I’m in. And. I. Went. Nutty putty. I might be doing some more stuff of my wormy girl later on, but for now, the blurb tied to this drawing ->

“Sands whip across the base of a massive cliff, one of many edges on this island of colors and sound. The flatlands surrounding the capital have little variation in look, except for the sudden behemoth-like shadow of the cluster of mountains nearby. Massive beasts of labor can be spotted - a Thün (A massive two-legged beast, closely resembling elephants, their trunks are sometimes counted as a third leg since the appendage is capable of extreme feats of strengths, and maneuverability) and a Kísh (A massive multi-limbed creature a thick keratin-based shell, and densely-furred underbelly, they are used as pack animals, as well as Sniffer’s for the Hunter’s since they have amazing sense of smell). But besides that, pass the walls of a city which seemed to have been formed by those same twisting winds, the sound of a market coming to life sounds out. Material from Bowl-bab’s ‘clack’ here and there as merchants setup up stalls, small companion animals (Skrong) stand near their families stalls, or tucked behind barrels to sleep past the heat. As well as that, the spicy-sweet scent of a local dish dances up past the cloth roofs, past the walls, and eventually past the top of the highest towers. Did you think you were alone here? A wormen stands with arms outstretched, cloth of different types and colors move slightly in the wind. But as the gale picks up, you swear you could make out a word on her cowl, one that seems to have been dancing on the wind, but got caught - “Cialut.” A name found on what the people exclaimed when they first saw the grounds that would become this place - “Hello there!”

Why, yes, my hand did cramp a crap ton. And yes this did take a very, very long time. Can’t even think how long the speed-paint will be. Lol. Was it worth it though? Damn right it was. Besides being the first piece I did when trying to relearn art, it’s also fittingly the first once more for when I was trying out a bunch of new things. But, besides that, there are some real items from the game in there, and some that might be a tad fun to make.
